New Hope for Chronic Back Pain Sufferers
A doctor from Atlanta is using a new medical breakthrough to relieve chronic back pain.
For lower back pain caused by over-exertion, strain, or sprain injuries; treatments such as chiropractic, medications, and injections may bring relief. But for those suffering from chronic and more severe back pain, there has been little rescue – until now. Dr. Timothy Dembowski, D.C. has recently brought a revolutionary back pain treatment to Atlanta: the revolutionary procedure is known as Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression.
A new medical breakthrough, spinal decompression specializes in treating lower back pain from disc bulges and herniations, sciatica, stenosis, degenerative discs, arthritis or facet syndrome.
It was discovered that the effects of spinal decompression relieved back pain and increased the height of the disc. This led to the development of this new technology, allowing us to rescue those with chronic back pain.
“For years, we’ve seen patients suffer despite multiple opinions and therapies. I’m thrilled to be able to alleviate my patients’ back pain with this new state-of-the-art treatment,” says Dr. Dembowski, D.C.
This non-surgical procedure is ideal for those with clinically unstable lower backs, who have tried medication unsuccessfully or have been scheduled for lengthy or alternative therapies. In fact, clinical studies have even shown spinal decompression is effective on patients scheduled for surgery or for those who unfortunately have already had surgery – and it failed them.
Dr. Dembowski D.C. continues, “the procedure is non-surgical, drug and needle-free and I’m excited to bring it to Atlanta.”

Doctor Timothy Dembowski: Hello and welcome to Atlanta Medical Clinic, Atlanta’s premier medical facility specializing in pain management. I’m Doctor Timothy Dembowski, and I am going to talk a little about a new medical breakthrough, non-surgical spinal decompression.
Statistics show that 8 out of 10 people will suffer from neck and back pain at some point in their life. For many years those who suffer from the debilitating effects of bulging and herniated discs, sciatica, stenosis, and spinal degeneration and arthritis have had little to no alternative to surgery; that is until now.
This painless spinal decompression procedure, illustrated here, starts off with the chiropractor strapping a two-piece harness onto the patient. The chiropractor then has the patient rest against a spinal decompression table that is slowly lowered down.
As soon as the patient is lying flat, the chiropractor adjusts the harness straps. The harness is then connected to the bottom and top of the spinal decompression table. A pillow is put under the patient’s head, and the patient’s knees are raised by placing a wedge beneath them. Patients are often so relaxed on the spinal decompression table that they fall asleep during the painless procedure.
The spinal decompression strap connecting with the body harness is angled to adjust a particular vertebral level. The strap connects to a computer-controlled mechanism that is continually loosened and tightened, gradually pulling on the spine to add space between the vertebrae. The result is the damaged spinal disc is repaired.
Neck pain is relieved on another spinal decompression table that works with a harness designed for the neck region. A patient typically spends about 20 minutes on both of the spinal decompression tables.
Following treatment the chiropractor removes the spinal decompression straps connecting the harness to the table and machine. He also removes leg wedge, pillow, and then raises the table to return the patient to a standing position. The harness is removed completing the spinal decompression treatment.
Here in our midtown Atlanta medical facility we have successfully saved over 320 patients from undergoing surgery, a number we are very, very proud of. This revolutionary back pain therapy is based on alleviating pressure on the delicate tissues that surround the spine, including the spinal discs. Most spinal disc problems are either felt in the neck or low back and here at Atlanta Medical Clinic we have been treating both for more than 11 years and would love to add you to our growing list of patient testimonials.
